We have been named Employer of the Year by QS News - and were shortlisted for Consultant/Surveyor of the Year in the 2007 Building Awards.
The QS News judges singled out our "real people culture" for particular praise - a mood that is underpinned by the fact we are employee-owned with a third of staff currently holding shares.
They also recognised our commitment to training and career development, which includes an on-line training academy, a "Young Board" designed to stretch and develop more junior staff, and a bespoke management development programme facilitated by Cranfield University.
Corporate Director Phil Higham said: "We are delighted to have won the award, which is a tremendous accolade given the strength of the competition. The construction industry is currently suffering significant skills shortages, so it is particularly satisfying to win as it confirms we are well placed to attract and retain the best talent in the industry."
