Health And Safety In The Frame At Rider Levett Bucknall

Press Release

In an industry leading partnership, Liverpool University has joined forces with Rider Levett Bucknall to ensure that safety is first on all of its construction projects.

The university has a significant annual investment programme and following tough new updates last year to CDM regulations, it wanted to ensure that health and safety and compliance are paramount.

Rider Levett Bucknall's unrivalled expertise in the field saw it emerge victorious in a competitive tender process and appointed by Liverpool University to a four-year framework agreement.

The Liverpool office will provide health and safety as well as CDM Co-ordinator services during the agreement which runs until December 2012. The practice has provided similar services to the university in the past and this latest contract reinforces its relationship with the higher education provider as well as enhancing its reputation in the sector.

Chris Hartley, Partner at Rider Levett Bucknall, said the contract will raise the bar in health and safety with a partnering approach to eliminate risks and ensure compliance with the new CDM regulations.

Chris added: "It is a great opportunity to apply our good practice in the higher education sector and to assist Liverpool University in achieving excellence in health and safety."
