Paragon of Virtue - Contract Journal, 18th January 2008

Rider Levett Bucknall has been awarded a contract to deliver an office development in Bristol city centre. The practice has been appointed by regional developer Cubex to project manage The Paragon development on Victoria Street.

The £35m development will create more than 74,000 sq ft of grade A office space over five floors. In addition, The Paragon will have around 3,000 sq ft of retail space and basement underground parking for 40 cars.

The project involves the demolition of the previous post war buildings and an archaeological investigation of the medieval properties that once occupied the site. Work is scheduled to start in September and is expected to complete in early 2009.
